Couples Therapy

You might be here because:

  • You care about each other, but you’ve started to feel disconnected or stuck

  • Sex has become less frequent, less connected, or difficult to talk about

  • You and your partner have different levels of desire

  • Intimacy feels pressured, avoided, or emotionally disconnected

  • Performance anxiety or sexual difficulties are affecting the relationship

  • Trust or sexual connection has changed after infidelity

  • You want to feel closer, more open, and more connected in your sex life

  • You want to explore your sex life with more openness and curiosity

What we’ll focus on

This isn’t about who’s right or who’s to blame. It’s about understanding what’s happening between you, including the patterns that shape emotional and sexual connection.

Together, we’ll:

  • Understand the patterns affecting closeness, intimacy, and desire

  • Make it easier to talk openly about sex, needs, and boundaries

  • Explore what may be getting in the way of connection

  • Reduce pressure, avoidance, or anxiety around intimacy

  • Rebuild trust and emotional safety

  • Create more room for curiosity, pleasure, and connection

How I approach this work

My approach is attachment-based and informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Rather than treating sex or intimacy as an isolated problem, we look at what may be happening emotionally and relationally underneath it.

That means:

  • Understanding the patterns shaping desire, intimacy, and connection

  • Exploring what happens when one person reaches and the other pulls away

  • Making space for vulnerability, needs, fears, and desires

  • Reducing shame, pressure, and defensiveness around sex

  • Building greater emotional and physical safety between you

What this can lead to

  • More open and comfortable conversations about sex and intimacy

  • A better understanding of each other’s needs and desires

  • Less pressure, avoidance, or anxiety around physical connection

  • Greater trust and emotional closeness

  • A sex life that feels more connected, mutual, and authentic

  • A stronger sense of being on the same team

If this resonates, we can talk about what’s been happening in your relationship and see if working together feels like a good fit.
